  • Simone

Simone, a.k.a. Sourette, is 74 years old, and has 4 grandchildren. She and her husband are currently headed towards the north of Norway in a campervan. Right now she’s likely to be hanging around a haberdashery shop where she often meets up with her girlfriends to knit beanies.

  • Lydia

57-year-old Lydia was taught to knit aged 13, by her own granny who was blind. She likes to watch Plus Belle la Vie, and also enjoys listening to music, counting Franck Mickael amongst her favourite artists.

  • Elizabeth

Our youngest granny Elizabeth is 48 years old, has a 5-year-old grandson, and keeps active by zouk dancing (a bit like samba). She learnt to knit against her will 35 years ago, but now loves knitting for Golden Hook in front of a good TV thriller.

  • Samir

How did he get here?! Select Samir and the cheeky scamp will choose a granny for you.

  • Simone

Simone, 64, has a lifelong passion for knitting. She even made a little woolly jumper to keep her dog warm through the winter. Simone likes to knit in front of the rugby, and applied to be a Golden Hook granny after a neighbour told her about us.
